Adoptions

We raise healthy, hand-tamed gerbils that make excellent family pets.

We also breed show quality gerbils that conform to the AGS standards for colour and form. Our goal is to improve the breed through ethical and intentional breeding.

We have a policy of not adopting out single gerbils, unless they are for breeding purposes. Gerbils are highly social animals and need gerbil companionship. We offer 'retired' breeding gerbils with a son or daughter companion, two same-sex siblings, or we will pair two gerbils of the same sex and similar age from two different litters.

Our adoption fees are:

Single breeding gerbil: $10 *potential adopters must already have a mate arranged*

Pair of same-sex gerbils: $15

Single breeding AGS registered, show-quality gerbil: $20 *potential adopters must already have a mate arranged*

Pair of same-sex AGS registered, show-quality gerbils : $30

Be sure to follow the blog if you're interested in adopting family or show-quality gerbils. We'll post when new litters are born and when the pups are ready to be rehomed. We will also list gerbils available for adoption on this page, so come back often!

  1. I would like to adopt 2 males. How much are they and where are you located?

    Thank-you,

  2. Hi Kathy,

We're located in Coquitlam, just outside of Vancouver, BC. Are you in Canada or the US?

If you're interested, we can reserve two males for you. The current litter of Burmese pups will be ready to be adopted out after January 11th, 2015.

You're welcome to come visit the pups, their siblings, and their parents prior to the adoption day if you'd like - it's always good to familiarize yourself with their personalities and needs prior to committing to adopting.

  3. I'm looking for a trio of congenital siblings to watch grow up together. I make all of my gerbil toys and obstacles by hand tailored to the setup of the time. Super fun!!
